Europe and Asia 1983, 1984, 1985

Dear pastors and brethren in Christ:

Greetings in the Name which is above every name, Jesus Christ.

The Lord was faithful and in the 9th of July of 1983 I was sent as a missionary of Youth With A Mission from Brazil to Madrid, Spain.  I was 20 years old and upon arriving in Europe, I went to participate in Amsterdam, Holland, in the International Conference For Itinerant Evangelists, which was organized by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association with more then 5,000 thousand evangelists from all over the world. It was fantastic! In

March 1984 I preached in Zurich, Switzerland, Milan and Turin in Italy as a team mem ber of YWAM. After being a missionary in Spain for one year, the Lord took me to the United States to preach during the Olympic Games as a team member of YWAM on the 20th of July, 1984. I thank God for the numerous experiences that He gave me in Spain.

On the 16th of January 1985, I was ordained as a minister of the Assemblies of God in Brazil and later on I became an ordained minister of the General Council of the Assemblies of God in the United States, Pacific District in California, on June 12th, 1992.

During the month of July in 1985, I went to Poland, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Romenia, Hungary, Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union. We made several contacts to bring Bibles to the Communist Iron Curtain. Then I went to Istanbul, Turkey, and later on to Athens, Greece. To preach and minister in all these countries is very difficult and danger, because of the communist and the Moslem countries and a very intellectual city like Athens. From there I went to Denmark, Copenhagen, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of YWAM.

In November 1985 I was in the church of Dr.Paul Yonggi Cho in Soul, South Korea and then in Tokyo, Japan. The continent of Asia needs a great revival among the Buddhist,  the Moslem and the Hinduism countries. China is experiencing a great revival there. In the first week of December 1985, I was part of the 25th anniversary celebration of  Youth With A Mission in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. It was a great time of fellowship among the missionaries from all over the world. I thank God that I was once part of YWAM.

To Christ be the glory and honor for everything He did during the years of 1983, 84, 85.

In the blessed bonds of Calvary that united us,

-Rev. Josue Yrion
