Greetings in the wonderful Name of Jesus Christ. It's amazing how time goes by and we are starting a new decade. We start 2020 with a lot of expectation, and at the very beginning of the year the number of the missionaries we support has grown to 56. With joy in our hearts we announce that we have started supporting a new missionary. Her name is Yamileth Sanchez. Yamileth is a missionary in the province of Almería, in the south of Spain, in the Andalusia region. She is working with an Assemblies of God church opening new churches, preaching, and also helping women who come as refugees. One of the main ways that she helps these women is through sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A lot of these women are of Muslim origin.

In India, the missionaries we support continue to work relentlessly, often under persecution. Nevertheless, they courageously continue to preach the Word of our Lord. In India, our missionary Dennis Gnanadura is busy running an orphanage that helps homeless children, not only by supplying them with food and clothing, but also by teaching them the Word. Also, the Bible Institute in Manipur India run by Rev. Ibobi is working tirelessly by instructing new pastors and missionaries for the work of the ministry. In Turkey, missionary Doris Torres continues to work in the midst of a Muslim country that is closed off to Christianity. In other parts of Asia, churches have been demolished and church workers have been jailed. Let's remember to keep all of them in our prayers.

In Myanmar, Joseph Nan is sharing the gospel in towns and villages with great results. Missionary Kamala in Nepal continues to visit homes, preach, and win souls for the Lord. In Bhutan, missionary Cyrus continues reaching souls for Christ, making the work of God grow.

In Belize, Pastor Víctor de la Rosa has led and carried out evangelistic outreach events reaching many souls for Christ. The government of Belize has allowed him to work in prisons, where he is teaching inmates the Word of God. His church has also begun helping needy persons across the border in Guatemala by bringing them clothes and other necessities. In Ghana Africa, missionary John Appiah continues to work. The church that he began to build north of Kumasi is already finished and filling up with new followers of Christ.

In Australia, Chile, Peru, Brazil, and Thailand, our missionaries continue facing opposition, but remain firm in their purposes. In Cuba, Daniel Barrientos works to reach the lost in a country mired in poverty and oppression due to communism. He continues to provide food to church members and the community, and shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout his region.

We also continue to preach the Gospel domestically as well as internationally. Last year we preached in Perugia, Italy. It was a difficult event, full of opposition. In Europe, churches are usually small, but we were supported by many Italian, Romanian, and Hispanic churches. Unfortunately, opposition to the event came from those inside the church.

It goes without saying that all this work in 2019 was made possible by the generosity and prayer of all of you. I do not have enough words to thank you, but I know the Lord will reward you.

For it is written: “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

2 Corinthians 9:10

Thank you very much dear brothers, and many blessings.
